A/C Knock?

I recently acquired a Casper's Knock Gauge and installed it. On the first drive the lights maxed out red. I have a rattle sound coming from the front of my engine, I'm 98% sure that my the rattle is the A/C Compressor. I was wondering if the A/C Compressor is causing a false knock or if I have bigger problems to start worrying about?

Pull the belt and run it.

My unknown knock was a cracked tensioner mount and yes it was right next to the a/c compressor.

Look to see if the generator is hitting the ac compressor. There will be evidence of this on the top of the compressor.

Thanks guys. I just pulled the belt and tried it. The gauge lit up, but stayed in the green this time. So come warmer weather I'll be replacing my A/C compressor and staying out of it 'til then. As for the remaining knock, I was thinking of Seafoaming it, does anyone know if that would help. Thanks again.
