A/C slightly warms up

The electric fan cannot provide the same airflow over the condenser as you get when you are moving. The more you can cool the condenser the more cold air you get in the car. So yes, its normal.
 
If the A/C is charged and working properly, cooling system doing its job correctly, should not notice any cooling for a normal stop light.

Last Sunday afternoon it was 110 degrees when I took a drive across town in my "garage queen" GN, and that was the case then. The coolant temperature was never above 180 degrees.

What is your coolant temp when A/C is running? Is the A/C fully charged? and not overcharged?
