Biggest problem is the tuning is done way differently. Even if you monitored IAT's and wanted to do anything... the majority of Buicks run on stock style actuators and no way to bring boost down.

If the wastegate system where built to bypass enough air to bring boost down, then we'd be talking. Thats an expensive proposition to run an external gate and large enough wastegate. Like a 60 mm.

Then we can tie in electronics and such.

VS an LS1 that uses a centrifugal blower and can technically run the boost numbers on very low timing.

What if it sensed high IAT and pulled a ton of timing and increased fuel 15%

Only if the boost level coupled with those settings would be safe

Thats a case by case basis. If for example your at 28 psi boost... You know what I mean.
