A few months back I bought a MAF/Gen2/3.5 Ls1

My Question is can just use the 3.5 MAF and the 2 adapter plugs, without that Gen 2 box and wire plug... That plug must have like 10 wires out of it.. I would never be able to splice them into the wires from the car..

you need some sort of translator to use that MAF.

There are a couple plug-and-play adapters available, ot you can splice in just a few wires to get it running (bare minimum is power, ground, MAF in/out) you can add additional connections as you want to enable features. (RPM, TPS, wideband)

Bob, Thanks for that response....... I tried it, and SES light came on and car barely started also code 33 came up... Where would I get the wires from to power to ground, in the motor or under the wheel. I am running a stock set up MAF and everyone tells me I need to change it....
