A few TB basic questions.

This is my first post in this section. I have been working on my hot air 85 for a bit. Now I am also moving forward with my IC Hybrid car . I have a set up that I am getting close to firing off the engine. What is the recomended oil? What is the best spark plug and gap setting? I know stupid questions. I did do a few searches but such generic words hard to find an answer.

Car has a 3.8 ,bigger turbo, Champion AL heads, Alky not sure if this matters.

You may want to start here http://www.gnttype.org/maint/basics.html for some basic info and go from there as far as oil and plugs and such. Not sure how much the Champions will change things though, someone else may chime in with their experience.

As far as oil goes I would start off with valvoline vr1 it has the most zzdp in it since I started to use it I never looked back big difference in oil psi.and spark plug gap mine is set at .28 some guys like it a bit more good luck

I've been running DELO 400 for its higher zinc content. Good stuff.
