I have a couple of series 2 / 3800's one's super charged the other one is out of a 99 firebird . The SC one has a spun rod bearing not bad, can be repaired. I dont know if anything is wrong with the 3.8 out of the firebird or not . I got it when I purchased the car. Here are some pics, If you are interested make me an offer .
