The car is around 3200#... probably a tad under.

I got the converter fixed and it came back like this:

UPS is investigating what happened and I should get a new converter or at least the bottom aluminum portion out of it.

Looks like a small ding on an edge that wouldn't affect the way it bolts up?

How much PSI are you running?
Still running an 88mm?

Ouch! I would have the runout checked to make sure something didn't get bent... I doubt it did but I would hate to find out while buzzing that thing to 9000rpm

Lets see...stroked v8 needs turbo to run with turbo v6.Will probably line up with stroked v6 turbo and still lose...HEHEHE.Looks like you will be stepping up to the stage 2 guys area,better look out I think Conley or Schmidt will be there to smack you down.Just kidding Andrew,looks like you got that stang running much faster with the new turbo setup.Are you sure you don't want to go back to those wonderful blower belts?LOL!

There's no magic in a Buick or any other brand. The Buick is not going to win just because.....
In my experience the V-6's need to run more boost to make the same power, along with possibly less weight. Sure, the V-8 has the advantage all other things being equal. Lets face it. 8.20's-8.30's is fast as heck. Buick, Mustang or whatever. If there is a Buick-Mustang meet, this guy's Mustang will cause a real problem for many Buicks. Why not just admit his car (whatever it is) is doing well? You know, you pick your poison. If you picked 6 cylinder power, don't cry foul because somebody else didn't.

He will be trouble for only one Buick and that is the one he is paired up to in eliminations.They will pair him up to one that runs real close to the same ET after time trials.That would put him with possibly John Schmidt who I beleive ran a traction limited 8.2 last year.Andrew got lined up last year with a Big block car that was a whole second slower.I don't think it will happen that way this year.He will have competition.

no see thats were your wrong i got the v6 because the v8 wasnt fast trust me ive owned blown big blocks ,nitrous sprayed LS1s and theres no feeling in the wourld like the turbo buick at full boost
