Hey guys, converted my car from Gen 6 DFI back to stock ECM. Car idled perfect with the Gen 6 but I'm having some difficulty. I put a large Abaco MAF and am using stock GN MAF program but it only runs decent and I'm not happy. Anyone have experience scaling this sensor so it will work properly? Ifigure stock MAF with both screens out doesn't idle right so stock program on a sensor 1.5 times the diameter surely will have the same issue! Any help is much appreciated.

I've got experience with that sensor......

Abaco's curve is nowhere close what's needed to run right....

I spent HOURS trying to build my own fuel curve as a baseline based on the stock chips wants... That's when I learned that the software that looks cool and easy to use, ISN'T! I can only play with it a few hours at a time then I have to take a couple weeks off and put it out of my mind.

It has turned into ''a man thing'' so I will crack it before it's over with on principal. Honestly I don't expect it to out perform a 3.5" LS1 and a translator so it's pretty much an exercise in boredom for me.

Well, I guess that sums it up! I was concerned because the turbo has a 4 inch inlet so didn't want to reduce the pipe size. Maybe I'll look in to the translator and 3.5 inch sensor. Thanks!

Without a translator and a good GM MAF, I'd never consider messing with that Abaco unit right now. That way you can enjoy the car in the mean time. I do a have a tested and working LT1/LS1 MAF is you need one. The translator I'm keeping as my Abaco is all out of whack!! :D
