Wanted some pics of the engine bay to see where people are running there engine electrical harness and wanted to see what people were doing for a drip tray. Send to midwestmindz@comcast.net Thanks for any info.

No current pics, but if you go to Napa and pic up some of the 1" loom (like 4 feet), you can remove the old rectangle shaped section and replace it with the round loom. Then, pic up a box of "loom" holders from the spinning display rack where all the electrical connections are located. Not the plastic end connectors...but they're for holding hoses or lines in place (rubber coated small band of metal with bolt mounting provision).

Then, you can do one of 2 things: Run the harness down toward the bottom of the A/C delete plate and mount with 2 of the holders, or, run the harness up toward the top of the A/C delete plate and mount with 2-3 holders and use up most of the excess loom.

I went with the prior setup and have a small amount of excess I'll need to neatly hide or arrange at the bottom of the inner fender...I just didn't want the loom going up the firewall like that.

I don't have a drip plate, so I'm curious to see what options might be out there....there is this prior thread with at least one option though:

I drilled a hole in my firewall behind the coil pack and ran the entire harness thru there. Then mounted my coil pack just above the hole so u cant tell its there at all

Gonna be working on a drip rail soon.Im thinkin the factory plastic part with the mesh lower screen and sheetmetal under that to make the drip rail.
