For those that have a high pressure adj. wastegate are you still able to turn down the boost to say around 15psi even though they're meant for higher levels of boost?

Also, this question may sound stupid but.....say you run out of methanol or whatever for a while, is there any way to temporarly turn OFF the alky injection so you dont spray when you dont have anything in there?

Depends on the kit. Some dont have on/off switches. Suggest you contact the system MFG and ask that question.

As to the Wastegate.. 18 is typically lowest it will go to. So that means if you dont have alcohol or race fuel.. dont race the motor.

should always keep alky in there and in storage. you dont want to get caught with your pants down. just get an rjc bleeder and you can use your stock wastegate. i get 16 psi all the way out and 23 all the way in. then i just turn the wastegate 2 turns more to get 25. my alky kit has all the well needed buttons on/off and low alky and adequate pressure light it goes red to green if it doesnt go red then stay off the gas and see why as well as the factory power injection light goes off when the alky kicks in. it is basically idiot proof plug and play there isnt all these buttons you have to turn and look at and adjust to tune. this has just one knob to turn for tuning.
