I have an adjustable wastegate but there was NO DOCS for any of these upgrades on my car. I searched on here and found a thread where someone said

" LENTHENING the rod DECREASES the boost, and
SHORTENING the rod INCREASES the boost ."

My question is how much do you turn it?
1/4 turn per pound?
Full rotation per pound?

If you have a good aftermarket boost gauge you can play with it and see the incremental change up or down with each full turn of the rod. Otherwise, dont trust the original assuming analog dash.
 
I have an aftermarket gauge. I've already increased boost from 12 to 15-17. So that's 1 problem down, only 10-20 more to go to get this thing running right. LoL

What is the max I should go. Not sure of everything under the hood, but I know I have some aftermarket pipes (MAF, etc...)

As much as you can without knock theoretically. Do you have some kind of scan tool? If not, I would not push it past where you are now unless you want to add headgaskets to your list. :)
