adjusting boost......

so I want to increase boost with my adjustable wastegate actuator.....ive shortened the rod approx 4 full turns and havent seen an increase yet.

do I just keep shortening the rod untill I see an increase?

dont wanna make a critical mistake here.

so far ive seen no knock at all on the scan master (running razors alky kit)

one more thing.....

is it normal for boost to jump a couple of lbs when the car shifts into 3rd gear?

Boost will fluctuate. you may not get anymore boost without running ableeder valve. I had that problem running my old te-60. I couldn't get anymore until I hooked up the bleeder to bleed off some of the pressure to the gate.....
