Mechanic needed in So Cal

Hello everyone, it has been quite some time! I haven’t been around for a while but I still have my car! Hope everyone is well!

Quick question, my car is currently located in So Cal but the military has moved me to the south. However, I would like to have the car fixed in CA. I believe it may need a new transmission and possibly the motor rebuilt. It has been at least 7 years since it has run properly. Any ideas? Would it be better to bring the car to the south to fix? I know a lot of GN mechanics left So Cal. Thanks in advance!
