it was a pretty strait foward installation, the power plate seemed real easy but the intercooler didnt want to go back in..
but after i got everything situated i fired her up. and of course she has to give me the attitude of 'SES' light.. the engine was 'idling' at (on the factory tach) 3250-3750 rpm's. i unplugged the ECM and tryed it again, but the it came right back up and did the same thing..
the only things that i can think of that went wrong during the installation today was when i disconnected the TPS sensor, the snap on it broke off, but its still connected, i zip tied it on there, really tight... and the other thing is that the intercooler hoses looked pretty bad...
my friend just showed up and asked me how the hole thing went today... and i showed him what the car was doing, let it run for like 30 seconds and killed, it.. then when we stepped back the driver side tale pipe was smoking..
anyone have any ideas? i already tryed the throttle cable idea, but that doesnt work... and i dont know any one who has a mobil scanners, except for the one i have at work, but i am not allowed to leave with that, and i dont want to drive my car....
any thing?
