After Market Shifter

Gentlemen,
I'm thinking about a B&M Mega-Shifter but figured I'd hit the board before laying out the money and making a mistake. I would like to get the thing to work with the stock console if possible. Has anyone done this or can anyone offer any advice. I noticed that you can get a Mega-Shifter for the Camaro/Firebird console but that's about it. "All others" have to get the big ole dog house mounted version. Any ideas? Thanks - BB

It's a great shifter, ran one for last couple of years. You are, however, going to have to tear hell out of your console.

BTW did you use the Camaro console shifter or the regular "hump" mounted one. Looks like the Camaro one to me. - BB
