I've heard that under acceleration, the tranny fluid collects at the rear of the stock pan, leaving the filter/pickup starved for fluid. This can lead to unstable pressures and cavitation. Do the deep pans with the filter w/pickup extension cure this problem?

Yes, as does the shallow PTS (not as deep as the deep ones) with the filter extension.

I've got the shallow ones on both cars just deep enough for me, and also extend the filter and allow for some more fluid. I think it's 3 extra quarts.

I think the deep ones are too deep for a daily driver that goes offroad a bit. ;)

Imo

Put a 700 filter on. Have to cut 1/4 in. off the U shaped tubing on VB. Put a couple layers of heat shrink on the 4th pressure switch. Now your filter pickup screen is on the bottom of filter as with a 200 filter on top.
