I NEED SOLID INFO ON DEEP PAN INSTALL

I have a used Art Carr #10250 deep pan that I got for $1 (yeah!!). It DOES have the (4) risers / supports in the bottom. I need solid info on which filter to use, and what needs to be done to make this install quick, and easy. I have searched for this info, (and it's all over the board) on what filter to buy. To be clear on my questions....
(1) What brand / filter part# do I buy? (2) Do I have to remove the risers in the bottom of the pan? (3) What's the best quality brand / gasket part# to buy? (4) Do I need to worry about the solenoid switch contacting the pan? ( it looks to have clearanced, see pic ) (5) What's the best brand of fluid to buy? As always, Thanks for your input.
