Aftermarket shifter cable adjustment.

i just got an aftermarket B&M shifter and i will be installing it in the next week or so, the instructions explain pretty well how to adjust the cable but i have been told by some it is difficult and others its simple, i dont see myself having any issues installing it but i figured id ask if theres any tricks to it or if anyone has any feed back on the subject

I always start adjusting with the lever in the drive position then work from there. I have also hade to file the detent stops on the B&M plate. You want to feel a good click when moving into each gear. Make sure you have a solid park position when done.
