Aftermarket sunroof drain line help!

I am in need of assistance/advice on installing drain lines for an aftermarket sunroof. The rear lines have been run, and are not a problem. However, we are having an extremely difficult time running the front hoses through the A-pillars. Is there a difference between the A pillars on factory sunroof (astroroof) cars, and non factory astroroof a pillars? I know someone else posted a while back to use coat hangers to fish the hose through, but we havent found success with this method either. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
