I am getting ready to sell my 2001 dodge neon. Everything is going fine and then I notice I hear something moving around inside my steering wheel (like a screw) and a little later my airbag light is on and my horn doesnt work. Anyone have any idea what it is and what a dealer might charge me to fix this stupid problem???

The problem is the "clockspring". It's what connects the electrical in the steering wheel (horn & airbag) to the rest of the car...

They will charge you for a scan/code clear (50 - 75)
A clockspring (90.00ish)
and installation (supposed to be .7, they will probably round it to 1 hour even.

You'll probably be around 200 + before it is all said and done.

WHAT is the warranty??? This is a safty device and should easily be covered under warranty...I'd check it out.
