Should I take the air out of the Air Bag when the car is going on a lift? I don't want to cause any damage to the bag or its position in the spring when the tires are hanging.

I've lifted my car plenty of times with air in the bags. Maybe you're thinking of cars with actual air-ride systems where you sometimes have to flip a switch or something to make it safe to raise the car up, but not with our little coil spring air bags.

No I'm talking about our bags. I noticed that when I had my GN on the lift the Air Bag moved within the spring. I didn't want to rip or pinch the bag when the car came off the lift.
I had a 04 Marauder with the Air Bags that you had to turn off the switch when it was on a lift.

I've had my GN in the air several times with the air bags pressurized and haven't had any problems yet. You are correct though, they do move a little inside the spring on the lift.

I'll bet I've lifted mine 50 times in the last 5 years:tongue:
Air bags are fine thier stronger than you think:)
