Air intake for 3.5" maf using factory airbox?

Hey guys, I tried a Google search and search within the forum without luck surprisingly. I'm bringing a survivor 1987 turbo T back to life that's been sitting in a garage for 21 years without running. I picked up a maf translator and ls1 maf but want to use the factory airbox if possible. Are there any solutions to this other than a custom intake pipe or reducer since the intake is 3" and the maf is 3.5"?

That's what one option is, I already have a verified working ls1 maf so I was hoping to use it but may just look for an lt1 maf.
