Just wanted to ask, about to drop out 10 on a nice GN and wanted to make sure it's still where i parked it last. Anyone have any opinions on them, i used to install them back in the late 80 and early 90's but haven't and technology has come along way. Two way remote start, and all kinds of stuff. I'm going to put an alarm in it 1st with a kill switch and probably a steel neck around the steering column so it'll make it twice as tough to have it stolen. Probably a mass air sensor so it'll detect someone trying to pull the knobs on the door handles and reach into the interior. But just wanted to pic someone's brain on this subject or get opinions, horror stories and they don't have to be GN's. But nice cars are easy prey if they are unguarded. Any input is appreciated and yea i know the garage is where this car should be but it'll be a few months before i have room in there for it. besides where would i put my suzuki bike that i don't leave outside.

gn for 10

i'm about to open my wallet and buy a nice GN for 10K and wanted advise on how to keep it from wondering off.

I would suggest the python system.

Mine is 4 years old and I wouldn't think twice about parking it in shady areas.

It has a build in turbo timer, remote start, remote trunk/windows, pager system to your keyfob and if they do hot wire the car, the second they put there foot on the brake it cuts off.

Pretty bad ass imo. It cost me 500 bucks installed and was worth every penny.

alarms

python is a good system, made by DEI or some company like that. they make 1/2 the alarms on the market by different names. I'm sure i'll go 2 way and remote start on it so it'll warm up for me. I just love it when my girl is all warm waiting for me to get inside and go full throttle.

ravelco is a very good setup but i dont know where i would put the unit do u have pics of one installed on a gn.
