I purchased an alcohol kit from Bowling Green and I received the worse set of instruction in the Western Hemisphere! The instructions were Xerox about 100 times and part of the instructions were not copied. The pics were also Xerox and could not make heads or tails of what it should look like. I am also missing several steps. I need the basic instructions inhow to set up the kit. Is there anyone out there with a similar kit or anyone with a set of instructions?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I wanna gripe too !!

I can't help you on the instructions, but I'm gonna take this opportunity to gripe too! I've ordered parts from Kirban, Postons, Art Carr and many others and it's always the same story. About as much time and effort goes into making a good set of instructions as goes into going to the john. I don't think Ive seen a nice set of instructions from a vendor yet, period. I'm not asking for the moon here, just something thats readable, and has a black and white photo that actually looks like the part I ordered. Not a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. Thanks, I feel better now. - BB

If you ordered something from Bowling Green and ACTUALLY got ANYTHING other then multiple charges on your credit card, consider yourself lucky, move on, and save up your pennies for an SMC kit. JMO!

I am glad I was not the only "nimnut" that got suckered!..Hope that NO ONE else falls for the retards at Bowling Green...We all work hard for the money and when we purchase the parts for our cars we should at least get what we order. There is not much I can do at this point, but to bring to other people attention of the dirty people at Bowling Green!

Realizing that legible, competent instructions are just as important as the content/quality of a product, I pride myself in making sure that TCI is not lacking in that department. In addition to providing good instructions with our parts, I also make sure that the latest versions are available 24/7 on our website too. :)

SMC Steve has the best instructions and best pictures.

HR Parts and Caspers Electronics are also most excellent in the instruction department with full documentation on all the products I have purchased from them.

Latest translator and chip instructions were much better than my preliminary copy. ;) Ramchargers and TurboBob on those.

Kenne-Bell always needed toner in his copier. :D

Postons only had instructions if the vendor they bought from included them. Excellent catalog however.

Just my .02 on instructions.

ATR included, IMO, great instructions for the exhaust, header, and crosspipe I ordered.
And Keith Mease had very good instructions with his Downpipe.
I agree that Kirban's instruction sheets aren't the best, but I was able to read it at least.
Just my $.02

Soundsl like the other vendors could use a good Technical Writer!! ;)
Geez, that's what I am  They could hire me!! I'm unemployed!

Ya right, like that's going to happen:mad:

I've seen the kind of instruction sets that are being refered to, and they're without a doubt, pretty low rent!!

Bowling Green stay away! :o
I have had nothing but problem with them. I will never deal with them again. I bought one of their refurbished driver side exhaust manifold, after a week it sounded worse then the one I took off  So then they sent me another one, after about a month same deal. That will be my last purchase from them!
