alky chip

Hey Guys,I am running a 93 octane TT alky chip in my 86 GN.My mechanic suggested putting in a Red armstrong 93 chip that he has to see how it compares to the TT chip.My question is can I still run the alky?Or do I need to turn it off while doing some wide open runs?Thanks,AJ

If the Reds chip is not an alky chip, you'll be running way rich, to the tune of about 15-20% too rich. TT chips rock compared to the old school Red chips. Eric does not just change the tables that anyone can do with Tunercat or editing software, but rewrote alot of the code and made it adjustable.
