Where did you put your “turn on” LED? Directions say typically next to the boost gage. Would this mean on the A pillar next to the after market boost gage? Any pictures? I will double post this in the general section as well.

Thanks
Chad

Yes. Typically by the boost guage. Wherever you can see it easily. In other words line of sight.

Its a personal preference.

Thanks Razor! Your help and product are incredible. Everything went together perfect. This is a very clean install.
One last question though. Does installing the 3 bar sensor mess up the factory boost gage? My factory boost gage no longer matches my after market gage. Prior to install it was always very close. Now my factory gage reads roughly half or less than the after market.

Thanks again for your help.

forget them pretty lights..only there to impress the gurls;)

I was hitting about 26#s no knock consistantly but have turned it down due to some wastegate fluttering which im troubleshooting now

i put my led next to the part on the dash it says 3.8 litre turbo so everyone thinks it is a car alarm light.:D ya know the stealth look...

Yes becuase the calibration on the 2 and 3 bar sensors is different.

Basically your 0-15 boost guage is now a 7-30. There was an overlay I believe from Mark Haufman that went over the original with the new scaling.. it was like 25-30 for the overlay.

If your in need of that 2 bar reading as it did, you can always run the 3 bar independantly. But you'll need to T into the boost line, get a pigtail adapter, and supply 5v and ground.

Thanks again. I dont need the stock boost gage so i will leave things as they are. I just wanted to make sure i did everything correct. I cant wait to get out and start playing with it now. I did a little testing last night and stopped at 21 psi with no nock on 92:eek: . From about 15 mph to 50 mph i was fish tailing with my 265. Very neat and clean kit.
