Been kinda busy, I still havent done the maiden alky voyage or even filled the tank yet :(

doing preliminary testing when hitting the test button and turning the "blue" knob clokwise i dont notice any change in the Power Injection bulb intensity..

I can hear a change in the pump speed though. How much does the brightness actually change ??

It gets rather bright while turning the knob clockwise. You should start to see as soon as you start turning.

Does it light up at all?

Did you double check and make sure your connections are good?

The light comes on when the test button is pressed, but its quite bright.

Turnng the knob from min to max there is no noticeable difference.

There wiring to the bulb is correct, in parallell with the pump wires on the dist block. Connections are crimped and soldered to the supplied fork terminals:confused:

If you can hear a pump speed change, then voltage is being varied. If voltage is being varied.. the lamp will change intensity.

If the "Initial" control was moved inside the PAC controller then this could be the reason, in other words if the knob was cranked to the right.. then it would light up the bulb aggressively.

Call me and i'll walk you through it.

sorry, wasnt home during your normal working hours..
but here is some more info..

I didnt mess with the inital or turn-on knobs but checked them out..
TURN-ON: set around 10 o'clock position
INITIAL: set about 11:30 position

Green Wire to
PAC has 1.61V

With the Blue knob turned just enough to turn the system on,
hitting the test button and measuring across pump wires on the
distribution block i get 9.03V

with the blue knob fully cw,
hitting the test button and measuring across pump wires on the
distribution block i get 9.47V

All of these tests were done with key on,engine off, tank empty.
The Low Level LED is on and the Boost/Turn On LED comes on when the test button is pressed.

There is a definite pitch change in the motor for this relatively small voltage change, not sure how voltage sensitive these pumps are.

Make any sense ? from the literature I guess I was expecting to see 1-3V??

Post back, hopefully i will be home in time to call you tommorrow..
