Hey guys,
Well I already have a homemade alky kit, but am really thinking about just upgrading to a kit like SMC or something along those lines. The system I have worked pretty well, but it has a stock fuel pump and I think it just crapped out, and it has no pump speed adjustment. I'm really planning on just buying a used kit instead of paying a lot of money for a brand new kit. And if I did go the brand new route, I would probably just go the extra mile and save up for the new progressive kit that's out. But, I came across a guy trying to sell his OGS propain injection system for $250+shipping, and that sounds pretty reasonable to me although I don't know what the pros and cons are between alky and propain. Let me know what you guys think.

thanks
Dan

you will need a bottle warmer in colder climates to keep pressure up. i had the propain and never could get it to go good. i have alky now and even though its not 100% tuned yet it seems a lot easier to tune. i just stated playing with it and 22 pounds of boost with very little knock. you might want to save up for razors kit. that seems like the best route from what ive been reading.:D

I'm just curious, but why does everyone say that Razor's kit is so much better than SMC's? I'd really like to know since I have one guy with a SMC kit he'll sell me for $250 shipped, and It'll cost me another $100 to get razors SAC kit, which doesn't seem to LOOK as good as SMC's, since SMC has a much nicer looking controller with a pump prime/check button, arm light, and spray on light on the controller and a tank pressure gauge. Plus, I can upgrade to the duel nozzle system. Let me know what you guys think

thanks
Dan

So your comparing costs of a brand new kit vs a used kit? Is that like saying I can get an 01 Mustang cheaper than I can get an 04 Mustang? One comes with warranty, one does not. One comes with a used pump.. one does not..

Your purchase, Your call :)

BTW, I havent sold an SAC in 6 months.

I wasn't trying to just compare cost, more of peoples experiences with your kit and SMC's, just taking cost into consideration. The SMC kit looks nice, and I know a guy with a low 11 second GN using it. I'm just trying to figure out why some say that your kit is the way to go, and others say the SMC is also a really good kit. Just asking people's personal experiences
