alky or turbo

With the mods in my sig, which way should I go? This car runs 1/8 mile except at the nats with an 8.5 best on drag radials and pump gas and 8.3 with 3 gals of 112. Looking for what will work best on pump gas so I can just drive in and have fun. I've had the car 5 years so I KNOW (right) that this will be my last performance mod. What improvement should I expect? TIA

I would say turbo. Get you a TA49 or TE44 they work great with the stock converter.

i would say alky kit because-

a larger turbo only makes more power than the stock turbo once its above 20psi-

you wont be able to run a larger turbo with the green stripe injectors and expect to make alot of power, you would need to upgrade injectors if you get a larger turbo.

you would loose off the line acceleration,have some spool up issues and loose alot of low end torque without a better bleeder valve to help out- ie RJC bleeder works great to help spool up.

i suggest getting a alky kit, power plate and a eric marshall chip, those with the stock turbo are good for 12s on radials with a mild tune.
with the alky kit, your car is fast all the time!
