just got my logger all set up
150 PSI instantly at 17lb boost
That max for my transducer
is this right

Depends how you have your controller setup, but yes, that sounds about right. I could only get 110psi on a brand new SMC kit and that fell to 80psi with some use.

Thanks
It is set just like out of the box nob on 7
I just though it would be a curve up to 150 not just straight up

he didnt mention what alky system he was using and hissig just says " Alky "

you guys say it sounds right at 150 but if thats a progressive system there is something wrong and the log does show that

hes not progressing ... it full on when its on ,
if its a razor kit it could be the internal settings but i have an older controller that works like his logs show and doesnt progress .. its BA-ROKE :)

Bison has mentioned this before too, but the Razor kits maxxes out way before max boost or even the max that a 3 bar map shows. It is still progressive but with the gain at 7 and the initial anywhere near the 12 o'clock position, the pump will hit 150psi before even 20psi of boost. And this is probably needed for the cars that build boost quickly. I'd be willing to bet that if you logged a 10psi run or even just a run where boost was brought up slowly, then the progressiveness of the controller would be verified to be working properly. The controller is following the boost of the motor but in reality, it needs to be spraying more meth before the boost gets really high so it's aggressive to stay ahead of need.

he has 150 at 8 psi ..look at the log

i generally see 30-40 @ 8psi boost (not steady but pulsing) , 50-60 @ 10 steadier , 90-100 @ 15psi , 130+ at 22psi

What are your controller settings? I wonder if he's using a 2bar MAP instead of a 3bar and throwing too many volts at the controller? I can't see the logs, sorry. I thought OP just wanted to know if 150psi was normal and for a Razor kit, it is.

I recently had my pump rebuilt by razor and also bought the test equipment to get a baseline for my pump.
On at 7 lb boost 30-40 psi
11 lb boost 70-90 psi
15 lb boost 130-150 psi

Im on my way out to the garage in just a few to confirm settings ,but I have not opened it up since new .It is a 3 bar map from Razer will check that to.
I started logging FP and Alky after blowing it up ,took me two years to get it running ,just got it running last week got 350 miles on it .
I took the CAD 5 plug out and put a plug from Caspers I though that might have been why I went lean and blew it up ,I was very careful redoing that plug
Thanks for the post I felt something was wrong ,dose any one have a log

To check the map, just run pressure to it and watch the voltage rise as psi goes up. You can turn the alky controller off and still check the 0-5V reference on the green wire. Use a regulated air pressure source KOEO.

first tow pulls Pac set at 3 next two 7 going to pull it all out tonight and check the wiring ,I know its right I was so careful

It's probably something simple. Like so many other "simple" things on these cars...:)

I think ill get a gauge and tee tomorrow and tap it to the wipe,r many thanks.Ill get it

Could also be scaling on the PL... If you have it to display 150 psi when there is only 1 volta applied .. for instance.

Another way to see pressure is watching the LED change from red to green.. The switch on the pump is set to "switch" at 50 psi. so if you put the Gain down to lets say 5.. and roll into the throttle.. at 6-7 psi it should turn red and then go green by 10-12 psi.. meaning its climbing in pressure. If it hits red-green at 6-7 psi boost with knob turned down to 5.. then its as Paul says Baroke :dead:

Another way is take hose of nozzle.. key ON.. hit test button and watch the stream of alky shooting out.. should vary as you vary the Gain while pushing down the test.. kinda like opening and closing a faucet on a garden hose.

if it ant Baroke dont fix it
Its Baroke now
I though Id be smart and get rid of the Cad 5 and put a better plug on it
my bad
