I have had razors kit for a few weeks now and it was working great  but now i am having an issue with alky spraying without me getting into boost. The green wire that goes to the map is the one that tells the pump to run right? Well my factory boost gauge wasn't working when i installed the kit so i spliced the 5 volts from the tps, and everything ran great. Now suddenly the factory gauge is working on and off randomly but reeds 15 psi. So the alky kicks on, I am trying to figure this out but don't know what is making the gauge freak out like this. Any ideas?

Bad ground on your MAP sensor. You can jump ground to the black wire on the MAP sensor plug.

Also make sure there is no corrossion inside the 3 prong plug.

When you can confirm the MAP sensor by checking voltage on the green wire. Key on engine not running is suppossed to see approx 1.6volts DC. As you put boost on the sensor the voltage increases. If you lose ground then it will read 5volts... and the PAC controller will think your at 30 PSI

I had an issue last year where my engine harness fell on the downpipe and began to melt a few thing. Some of them were the wires to the PAC system. I ended up with a pump that would go full bore as soon as the key was turned on. Easely fixed but had me quite confused for a little bit wondering what the F#^! was going on.

That is darn good tech support from a Vendor. I am glad that I don't have problems at all with my alky kit from you, but very happy to know that if I was to have a problem you will be there.

Thanks Jeff ;)

you need to clip the light green signal wire that goes to the factory boost gauge over at the white connector under the pass side dash. The other side of the wire goes out to the map sensor. The map sensor should be tied to the Alky control system ONLY. There is an issue with your factory, aging boost gauge. I've had to do this on 2 cars and it took care of it. I dont know if it is possible but I suspected the boost gauge was giving some type of intermittant feedback to the MAP sensor.

I also have a car there that will spray CONSTANTLY if the controller and key are on (not running) and the batt voltage falls below 10v. Any ideas Julio?

Time to pull out a voltmeter and confirm the 1.6 volts DC "key on" and go from there.

Electrical sensors need to be tested with meters sometimes.. Since you already tied the gray to the gray on the TPS.. and tied the black wire to ground.. I would clip the green wire going into the factory harness that way nothing can back feed. So at your 3 bar MAP, the only thing attached to its green wire is the green wire going to the PAC controller.

Again.. if you dont own a voltmeter.. go to radio shack, harbor freight, etc.. and buy one.. it is a needed tool when working on modern cars.

Worse case, make some time and call me during the week.. "fixing" things over keyboards is tough enough.

Bill... good call.. anything is possible with 20 year old electronics
