I posted my Track results in the Timeslip section. It doesn't seem to get much attention there. Here is the link.

http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/time-slip-combo-database/214104-help-times-yesterday.html

I am trying to get more mph out of the car, it doesn't seem to pull that well on the top end.
I was able to get to the traclk last night and make some 1/8 mile runs. I added timing in the 1/2. I have not added any in the 3/4 yet.

Just wanted some opinions on where my mph is. I can send Direct Scan files if anyone would like. Thanks

Matthew

hognose, you can shoot to bring down the o2's to the 770's area but i wouldn't play with the tune at 26lbs as things can get very bad quickly.the 28inch tire should help you however if you want to work with what you have i would recommend locking the converter in third and that should pick you up some mph.the section on tuning the alkycontrol by razor is very helpful and explains how to play with the alky by working your way up in boost not starting from 26lbs.your pickup (mph) from the 1/8 to the 1/4 in my opinion is low and can be worked on.going to the track and making several passes than making adjustments based on the timeslip is the way to go!there is no quick fix,you have some nice parts there and that turbo is good for more mph.those are some nice timeslips for a couple of passes but higher boost doesn't mean your making power.bring the boost down, lock the converter, look to get the 1/8 to the 1/4 mph up then shoot for a good 60ft

Matt,
Open the cutout.. dont know if you've done this. Next look for all the simple stuff like air filter.. maybe do a run with and without.. see if any difference.

Also run the motor at 150-160 for coolant temp at the tree staged. So do the burnout in the 140's.. that usually picks my car up.

Your car should be faster with the heads and cam it has at a lower boost. But this is something to look at leakdown wise, or how healthy it is.

Shift the motor at 5700 and see if that picks up MPH.

And.. you can send me DS files and see whats its doing. If its not picking up knock, it maybe too much alky.. so ween it down a little till you see .5-1.0 in 3rd gear.. then bump it up a tad to zero it out.

You should see more than 22 in the back half of the track. More like 25-26 when dialed in.

That TE60 is way out of its efficiency range based on your heads and cam. Typically the TE60 is rated at 585 HP.. thats flywheel.. so take off 20% and your in the 470 range. 470 RWHP and a 3600 lbs car should run 116-118ish. So your not far off.. Bet your motor at 22 PSI it runs what it does at 26 PSI. So you may be out of turbo. So the above to drop the boost down, is solid advice.. dial it in at 20 PSI.. then go to 22.. as long as it picks up.. you keep adding boost. Also look at MPH both at 1/8 and 1/4 to see if your making power.

Julio,
I will send you a couple DS files. I did do one run with the dump open. It made no noticable differance. The motor is brand new dec, 23rd! So I am sure that is not a problem.
I am thinking you may be right about the boost not making the diff. it should.
The tranny shifts 1-2 at about 5750 and I shift 2-3 at 6000.

It seems that it just ins't pulling like it should in 3rd gear.

Thanks,
Matthew
