alot of people do. what are you trying to ask? pretty much the same deal as normal tuning.

alky

Just pretty much wondering if tuning was the same. Going next week for new tune and dyno. was considering a smc kit or even E-85 tune...... Thanks

You have to make your mind up as to what fuel direction your going to go with. Unless you get the thumbwheel and setup an E85 tune and a pump gas tune. You can select 4 different maps.

On our system you tie into the 3 bar with the XFI. Tuning is straight forward. On the SMC, call Steve at SMC for guidance.

I just got into XFI myself. I think I will put in a safegaurd that if the IAT temps ever go above 140 degrees or so that it pulls a pile of timing. (Like if alky ran out and I was too dumb to notice lol)
Good plan Mr Razor?

You won't be disapointted!!!!

set afr to 10.8/11.0 and start tuning from there also start with timing around 22/21

you will be surprised how easy it IS!!!

thanks JD

Another thing I do is set my positive correction at +25%. So if the car goes lean, it can add up to 25% fuel to bring the AFR down.

I target 10.6 with my XFI and a mix of 93 and 110. I would not go much leaner on 93. You will gain very little power and risk lean out with the s hitty pump gas thats available.

Ya good call. We have 94 here which is nice, but it will be nice to be on the safer side of things for once.
I have my IAT in the plenum, what is the max temp you guys have seen? I saw 134 the other evening with no alky on 15psi.
