:confused: Alright, got the kit all installed on my 04 GMC 5.3 with Radix supercharger. Key on (but not start), both sights on red. Turn gain knob alway up, and press "test", nothing out of pressure line(disconnected from nozzle for testing). Both lights stay red. Take truck for ride, get to at least 5 pounds boost, both lights stay red. The turn on LED never goes to green. Any ideas??

Sights = lights?

Key on, the only light "on" should be the one next to the blue gain knob.. that one indicates the system has power.

There is a clear LED that is suppossed to be mounted by your boost guage, that one comes on only when you either hit the test button, or reach your set PSI boost turnon point. Once it comes on, it will come on red UNTIL the pump develops 30 PSI pressure.. at which point it turns green.

If you turn the key "on" and the clear LED is red meaning system has activated, you either wired the MAP sensor wrong, or the turnon setting has to be changed, increased clockwise. On a 2 bar MAP, engine not running, the green wire will read 2.3 volts DC.. a simple voltmeter referenced to ground will confirm this.

Once you get the MAP sensor figured out.. now turn your gain knob all the way to position 8.. hit the test button.. liquid should flow. You can unhook the line to nozzle and perform this test. The pump also will make a whirring/weeeee sound.. that is normal.

Past this test.. take it on the road and put it into boost.. now adjust the turnon setting so it comes on at 3-4 PSI boost.. depending on how much boost is run, like if you run 6 PSI, then have it come on at 2-3 PSI. If you run 12-15 PSI, then you can have it come on at 5-6 PSI. That way the system can ramp.. your tuner will ultimately make this decision... and the blue knob controls rise in pressure as the boost rises. For initial tests, leave it in higher settings like 6-8.. then bring it down once the system is working.. you can after all is siad and done custom tailor the red to green light transition...

If the above doesnt help.. call me Monday :).. walk you through it

sights=lights; yeah lights bad spelling. Hold on, I think I might have found my problem. A friend helped do the under dash wiring, and it looks kind of suspect. I always appreciate help, but Sometimes it turns around to bite ya in the butt.

:biggrin: Ok, crisis averted, :rolleyes: I think! Looks like faulty wiring under the dash (My fault, not Julio's). Re-did everything, key on, engine off-red light on remote comes on. Gain all the way to the right, push test, white led next to my boost gauge lights red, and the pump sprays water (for now). Now, to clean it all up, go for a test to see if turn on led goes to green at approx. 4-5 psi boost. :rolleyes:

Ok, key on, engine off, the only light that is on, is the light on the remote. Voltage off the map (green) is 2.3. Gain all the way to right, hit test, fluid flows, and turn on led is red. Go for drive, boost gauge goes to 6-7 psi (it's raining all day so I have to take it easy), but no turn on led at all. What should I feel if I hit test button while driving? In the driveway, if I bring the rpm's up , but don't go into power enrichment and hit the test button, no change in sound, but my wideband changes from 14.7 to around 11.8, so it seems the pump is spraying, but the map sensor isn't sending a signal to turn on the pump. Should I play with the settings in the PAC box? I'm getting around 1.6 volts across the terminals on the power dist box with the gain on the remote around 12o'clock position.

Julio's settings should be real close right out of the box...... On my GN..... if I have the gain knob all the way up.... I can be in park.... rev the engine to like 2000 RPM..... hit the test button (methanol in the tank) ..... and the engine will begin to stumble.... almost to the point of going dead.....I know I have alky flow then.......

Take it real easy until Julio chimes back in..... his kits should work great right out of the box....

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to change anything from the settings that are supplied in the kit so it's easier to get help from Julio. I can bring the engine up on rpm's, and hit the test button, the engine doesn't stumble, but my wideband changes from 14.7 to around 11.8 or so. I'll give him a call today.

I'm like an ignorant infant with this stuff, but I couldn't get the MAP to turn on the pump either. Turns out that the vac. line going to it was plugged. Might want to check and see if you have vac. at the MAP - maybe?
