I had a whole set of extra car trim in bright that was in great shape but cloudy, So I had all the trim on the car powder coated white to see if a whited out GN would look nice. Came out better than I expected and I think it looks good. No?

I am having the GTA rims that were on my car previously, powder coated in "bright chrome" I wanted to have the rims done in black center with chrome outer and the guy refused to do it. He said it doesn't come out good without a definitive line to mask off for the powder coat. And he is into production work and I suspect he didn't want to do two color detail work. The GN rims definitely fit the above bill not saying it cant be done but it would probably take a real pro; especially since the area needing coating should be sand blasted on one slip and the chrome is ruined.....
I mentioned the small thin trim came out especially good since I had the drip rails, and even the trunk strip done. I asked if he had any problems and he looked at me like "why?" I told him I heard of horror stories where the place uses too much heat and the trim is ruined he just laughed. I put all that fine trim on and its flawless.

I think black trim looks 100 times better. The white reminds me of a horrible paint job where they just spray entire car without taping things off.
Car is still going together. There will still be alot of black left on the car, this was just to minimize the black lines all over that tend to break up the appearance of the car when painted white.
The grill, bezels, rub strips tail light bezels, weather striping etc will all remain black.

The grill might look pretty cool in white, same as the bumper strips
