I installed a set of low beam ALRADCO HID lights and I can not get them to stay lit up. I turn on the headlights and they turn on for a half a second then go out. If anyone had any ideas please let me know! Thanks.

I forgot to mention the other stock headlight and marker lights illuminate fine.

Mine did this also. The voltage was dropping too low when the were t u rned on. Added a hotwire harness and they worked fine.

Did you make your own harness or did you buy a pre-made one?

I contacted Pete and he offers an plug and play harness for the setup

I used the harness included in the kit that plugs into the factory headlight socket. Is the hot wire harness different??

did the harness you used have a relay and a wire going straight to the battery or alternator?

The "hotwire" that I used is connected to the battery positive through a fuse and has relays to power the lights directly from the battery. The relays are tiggered from the stock headlight harness from the car via a plug. My stock harness would not provide enough battery voltage during ignition to keep the headlights lit. The harness looks real similiar to the picture below except it has plugs to fit our cars
