So just for fun the other day we tried a new color on our Alradco aluminum radiator. It's difficult to get the pictures to show the color but you get a pretty good idea.

This color is called black chrome. It looks similar to a deep dark grey is the best I can describe it. I wouldn't put it in a stock engine bay but one that's really dressed up could look REALLY nice. Will probably try it on one of our aluminum shroud dual fan kits.

Just thought I'd share and see what others thought. I never get tired of playing with car parts. :D

The rad is sweet!!!:)
Been playing w/ black chrome powder (got a little Harbor Freight powder gun)
LOVE it!
I have chrome accessories, (turbo shield, up pipe, MAF pipe & such)
but I think the black chrome is so much better in a G/N engine bay; for me it just "works"
D o_O

I like it. Might have to do that color for a rad and fans on the race car!

That picture is so sexy, this thread needs a not safe for work warning!!!

I love how it looks and can't wait to do a shroud as well. Then we'll throw it on a customer car and test it for while to see how it holds up. I've been told probably not very well. Thanks guys.

Got the shroud done. Will get the fans on it and post some pics.
