With the weight reduction available from the so-called Canadian bumper brackets, you've got to wonder what anybody would buy a glass front bumper???

I found something even better I found out the GM had brackets that bolted the front bumper directly to the bumper shocks and you REMOVE the inner supports completely Im taking 27 lbs offa my front end..

I know this is a very old post , can I ask you about your front bumper weight loss ? Thank you

Can even take a death wheel to the alum ones to take more weight out. Mine are fiberglass with alum bumper brackets, the stock shock style brackets are heavy.

If you really want to save weight on a race car, use nylon bolts here and there for non structural items...
