Aluminum core support

Only on some G-body Buick, Olds, & Pontiac's, and on
All Century Turbo Coupes.
About half the weight. (26 vs 13 lbs.)

About 1 out of every 10 78-80 Buick, olds, pontiac, g bodies (actually they were considered A bodies then but its the midsize line). My experience is that they were mostly in the pontiacs. There were at least 4 varieties of them per Eric Fisher (turbofish38). There are different heights, some require shimming them up from the bottom and some require cutting the bottom bushings down. This is info I have gathered from people I have sold them to. I've never tried to install one, though I still got 1 hanging on the wall. I think they can all be made to fit regardless of which one you get.

13lbs doesn't sound like much, but the Alum core supports are light! I found one at a local yard and was going to sell it, but decided to keep it and put it on the "race car" to help lighten it up. Every little bit helps for this situation. I have heard others complain it was not worth the work for 13 lbs, but to each his own.
