Anyone know if there's a pulley set that looks completely factory out there that replaces every pulley we have, with a FACTORY DIAMETER aluminum version?

I have the stock style RJC crank pulley anodized in black. Looks pretty stock to me and it's super light!!

I know that some of those pulleys can look pretty stock. Was hoping to land all of them :)
I want to beat the balls off of a Corvette or GT500 on the street, then open the hood and have him say WTF?! How? I want the only obvious stuff on my car to be stuff I can't control-meth injection, slicks, and intake tube.

I know, but for a stock appearing build, where I can't go balls out with the turbo selection, every little bit of weight reduction helps. Especially rotating weight. I need all the help I can get.

that stock appearing can take a 67 wheel but the whole idea of stock appearing is rediculous to me as no one will know or care what it looks like or how factory was , the fact that it still only has 6 spark plugs should be enough of a wow , and unless tghey have been in a cave the whole turbo 6 whipping out power shouldnt be a surprise especially if its wrapped in a GN body

with the 61, unported irons i dont think youll be whipping too many 500s on the street
personally with your motor build (get the ported irons on there ) i would have more turbo ,more injector, and more fuel available ( double pumper)

I already have a better designed turbo with TA cover and ported irons in the works as we speak. (this build is constantly advancing-gotta sort out my little stuff first, which is very close to being done now) And even though this build shouldn't be a GT500 beater, I often beat people on the streets I shouldn't because they either can't shift, or have tires that aren't matched to their cars (which is 99% of the time here) or both.
I know to some people, a stock appearing build is stupid, but I do it for two reasons-I love the original look of these cars, and I show the car as often as possible, and hang out with a decent crowd of racers. Even though I live in a big city, the racing crowd is very small, and word gets around quick. I already can't get races because of what my car is; I don't want any more reason to scare people away. I'm addicted to racing and I can't help it. It's a bad addiction I know. But it's the only thing that comes close to my previous job. I'm hoping to start making a little money with this car too.

Your searching for items that mean nothing right now. Follow the Rusty Silver Bullet thread. He is about to dip into the 10's with very little help. He just added a large turbo to help, but went 11.13 with a 62. If he change to the bolt on inlet bell...TA comp housing...it would have still look stock. He is still running un-boxed trailing arms and un-modded suspension. 11 flats would beat most any of what your trying to get over on.

I understand that stuff. I'm just doing some advanced research for now. Some of my posts are directly related to what's going on with my car today, and some posts are research for the future half of my build. I know it's hard to distinguish. I know I can get tens with what I have, but I'm just looking into the future as well. :)

Of course. I know the tune isn't there. Hell, I just got done putting it all back together. I realize tens aren't that easy.

I myself would like some plane jane aluminum pulleys in the factory style... for some pretty show stuffs. cause aluminum is way easier to polish then steel.

I'd like them in plain aluminum, so that I could anodize them flat black. That would like really nice.

I dunno, I see what your saying from a performance stand point... but i dont think there is enough weight difference to justify pulleys on that alone.... but some solid aluminum ones for buffing... would be tits hot - think of the ol' buick free spirit manuals with the sexy all chrome and polished up motor on the cover. painting them black and having aluminum pulleys for the sheer sake of some kind of sleeper effect seems like wasted money..... honestly..... dont you agree? not knocking you in any sense, as every tiny amount of rotating mass counts... but with what stockers are capable of.... whats the point other then show?

You might try posting in the "parts wanted forum" for what you are looking for.

I was able to find a stock dia. polished solid aluminum water pump pulley a few years ago in there at a real good price.

Jason Cramer says that removing 9 lbs of rotating weight, is like removing about 95 lbs of dead weight. Do you know more than Jason Cramer? I can't remove dead weight if I want to? I didn't start this thread to have to defend my weight savings and/or stock appearing build decisions. I know full well what I'm doing, thanks for the suggestions/tips/comments. All I need the direct answers to my direct questions. Does anyone make aluminum stock style pulleys in factory diameters. Yes or no. I'll take the rest from there. Thanks. Don't worry what I'm doing with pulleys. I'll chop 'em up with my Blendtec blender and put 'em on my fucking pizza if I want. How's that...
