I have spent the last 3 years restoring my 87 T. I am getting pretty close to the point where it runs and looks like a new car. I have spent $20K+ on this car including the purchase price. Now that it is near completion, I am kind of bored with it. Has anyone else gone thru this with thier car? If so, what did you do? Keep it, sell it, trade it?
Same here...87 T, working on it for 3 year, about 20k into it, just needs paint now but I am not bored with it. I actually like the idea that I may finally get to enjoy it now rather than work on it all the time Don't worry, it will break and you will not be bored
If you like working on these cars that much, I'll make you an offer you CAN refuse! I'll trade you one of my cars for yours. Both have a pretty long list of necessary restoration items. I'd love to have either of my cars restored, but it'll be a while before I can get around to it...

I would love to take you up on your offer.. only problem is my money tree in the back yard seems to be withering. Working on them is relaxing, but with two little one's in diapers at home the car is last on the priority list time wise. You are in the same spot I was two years ago. Keep plugging away and you will get one of them whipped into shape. Trying to juggle two? Man that is a lot of work!
That is part of my problem. Now that it is done for the most part, I have driven it a little. It seems like kind of a pain to always have the laptop plugged in with turbo link on to monitor this and that....
I also think about all of the $$ I have in the car and how hard it would be to find some of the parts if some idiot were to hit it when I had it out....
Park it, don't drive it for a 6months to a year, and then drive it again. That always renews my interest. Or, take up drag racing! The need for speed will keep you interested and in search of new better parts!
