The K&N stock replacement LC2 filter fails to the OE assembly line paper air filter. Imo this is a terrible tech video. Having a less restrictive air filter doesn't do anything for gas mileage on a modern efi or gdi engine. Changing air filters in many of the modern oem mass airflow applications often causes reduction in drivability and sometimes power drops.

Oiled foam like the UNI type of filters, or AFE Pro-Guard 7.
