What would I need to make a 1972 PONTIAC TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION (short shaft) bolt up to my 87 GN. Convertor?, Shifter?, Shaft?

shifter, converter, shortening the drive shaft, tranny dip stick, and you have to move the mount on the tranny crossmember over like an inch and a half.
