Sorry it wasnt a title issue.. it says a accident or damage issue. I asked the guy who built the motor nd how many miles he has on the drive train. waiting to hear back

Oh I see, Still if you drive it You can tell if suspention doesnt feel right.

My limited has a rebuilt title. I poked around and knew what had happened just by looking underneath. I still bought it.. One of the nicest riding regals I have been in.

Good luck on your buying

WO2 is the blacked out trim. It would be noted on the truck SPID label on the underside of the deck lid. There is a series of codes there.

Another nice looking car, Again your money, your call. Seems like a lot to me in this economic climate.

You'll notice neither one has any bids.

Yeh i did notice that none of them have no bids... See this is why im trying to figure out what to stay away from... Im not looking for an all original car.... not on my first one.. Texas T . can you show me what you would buy if you were in the market to buy... What cars would be worth you two cents.. I like ur opinions on both posts..Why im asking ..

$3K paint job??? I paid near that, just for the materials to paint my 55 Chevy sedan....
@$3K, I'd bet it's an Earl Shieb special....

thanks for the good words.the guy on the other post obviously doesn't know when a shoutout for an opinion means just that, An Opinion.

I'll keep an eye out. I'm not really in the market to buy so maybe that is why I think the cars shown look expensive. Crashed, bent up, ragged out is what I would want avoid. I bought mine new and was around when they were very new used cars so as they aged real nice unbutchered examples get fewer and further between. If you want a race car or a beater, it is easy to find one.

new paint covers a bunch of bad body work so be wary. I'd want a straight original over a newly painted questionable car. Unless you know the history, I stand by advice to find someone local who knows the car and its history. It is a full frame car and can be straighten to as good or better than new by a competant body man, but the question then be comes, was it fixed right or just fixed to pass it on to the next sucker. they're only original once.

Thanx Texas...I just dont wanna buy the wrong car... Im not looking for a beater... Im looking for a nice street car.. wit some bolt ons.. paint isnt a big deal ..The guy with the so called wo2 , said he doesnt know anything about the car... sounds all bad from the get go...If i could possible pm you with the cars i find in my price range and if you could give me your 2 cents..

I think that was the one from Pennsylvania. Different parts of the country have a very different opinion on what a rusty car is. That is not to say a rust free car that was never driven in foul weather isn't pristine. Just that cars that have been driven in different parts of the country experience different weather and different road applications in the winter.

If you are wanting T-Tops that might be a nice one. Look for cracking near the tops of the quarter windows. This might indicate how hard the car was used. Mine is a hard top car that has been raced and launched hard countless times and it show in that area. Bottoms of the doors, rear of the wheel openings are rust magnets.

I am more than happy to reply to your pm messages. I would think that there is a nice one out there for you. Finding it is the hard part.

Have you been over to gnttype.org and read up on the buyers guide?

Na i havnt been on either of them links.. Ill Hafta check em out.. Is the buyers guide on this website?

let me get this straight, he claims to have the receipts yet he doesn't post what they are? Also he claims how fast the car is yet he doesn't seem to know what anything is? I can just picture him taking it out and stomping on the gas with the alky turned off. Performance ignition system....like what? I thought the stockers were always best until making big numbers...well low number...you know what i mean ;) Lastly a lot of these parts he claims are new, yet this guy just passed away and left his regal to his ex-wife? How can this be possible...if I had an ex-wife I don't think I would be leaving my Buick to her. Who knows maybe it's a gem...maybe you can get someone to swing by and check it out.

Yeh i will hopefully have someone on this website meet up with me and check out a car im interested in.. Just let me know what kinda beer you drink so i can grab a 30 for helping me , whoever does...I still got some time to look around...

Only way to tell is see it in person. If you can afford the car, you can afford a plane ticket to go look at it. Just my 2 cents.

Yo Phil I finally found you on here. Damn another silver one with the black wheels. That thing looks nice man.

Whats up capt? Yeah man things clean.. to bad its a no go... guy doesnt know **** about that car... been in an accident.. and noone knows anything about it.. He knows nothing about the motor. Im looking at this one 87 turbo-t buick regal grand national
