i bought a 1986 T Type and just want to know where to start with my rough idle. Previous owner claims all stock except for chip, injectors,kenne bell cold air and adjustable fuel regulator. On start up you must give it gas til warmed up. Once warmed up it will stay running but runs rough, tho never shuts off. on highway or normal driving it does fine. I just want to know where to start checking or replacing......... Thanks

ok thanks, now i had a ls1 and i just cleaned the maf and it worked, are the turbo regals that way or is it just best to just replace the unit?

Also should i just switched to the maf translator and ls1 maf, or just purchased a remand? i'm not racing or anything just weekend driving.

Translator is the way to go stay away from remanufactured.

No sir, i actually hadnt had time to mess with it, i want to get a new maf conversion though and change egr valve. I want to keep the car as close to stock as i can is the issue.
