This is stock GN 2004r trans and I just put a shift kit in. I thought I should double check the TV cable. It was 5-6 clicks out. If I push it in all the way (button pushed) to where there are no grooves showing and then mash the pedal to the floor the cable moves out only 1-2 clicks. It also makes quite a loud snap noise when doing this. At this position if I move the throttle cable by hand all the way open the cable appears to be extremely tight. Does this sound right? It almost seems like it is too tight and I should move the cable out a few notches like it was.
Need your opinion before I start driving this.

Nope that sounds correct. As long as the throttle body is wide open...not being held back by TV cable.

Drive it see how it shifts. If its hard and late move it 1 click at a time forward. If you go to far the shifts will be way to quick...in 4th by 25-30 mph. The trans will die a quick death!
