Antique Drags this weekend!

This weekend is the antique drags at Barona. I know there are already more than 150 cars pre-registered to race. Im going to watch a couple customers race. One is a 70' Stage 2 GS 455 with a vortech making around 900hp (driven to the track) and the other guy has a 70' Pontiac LeMans with a 455 making around 600hp. Both cars very clean. The only thing that sucks is that the event is closed to all cars newer than 72'. Im still driving my T there though. Just wanted to let everyone know, if your looking for something to do this weekend. Its on Saturday and Sunday racing starts at 8 a.m. and i believe goes till 5 or 6 p.m.

Hey Chad you should go Saturday. If Im not mistaken, Sat is also a Test and Tune and Gambler. So you get to make a few passes and still watch the Antique Drag Cars make there passes all for one fee!.... Im definetly going Sat. I believe racing starts @ 3pm Sat and in the morning Sunday!

Thanks for the correction man. I'll be there Sat and Sun then but i'm waitin for my downpipe to go racin.:biggrin: know I dont have any money for unleaded 100 octane at about 7 bucks a gallon. But ill see you on Sat.

I plan on going to Barona on June 2nd to race. Its the day before the Bates Nut Farm car show. And its at night from 3 to 11 also.

Do you have a cat in your car? If not I have some c16 sitting in my garage just waiting to be used!

Yeah I still run my cat. Once I get my downpipe its coming out though.

Well it doesnt look like Ill be going to the track this weekend :frown: I just had a bolt break on the turbo which inst going to come out anytime soon!

Oh no! That sucks. Was it one of the flange studs?

No it was one of the bolts that hold the THDP on. I was pulling it off to port out the exhuast port on the turbo so I wouldnt get that 5psi spike when I go WOT...... hopefully Ill be ready by June the 2nd!
