I just want to see if its worth buying one that,I can get at a good price or would it be a waste of money anyone ?
Any benfit over using a deep transmission pan?

Yes, it is well worth having a alum trans pan for these reasons:
1. It will lower the fluid temp with better heat transfer of the alum pan, and also will increase the amount of fluid by at least one quart.
2. The ability to use a TH-700 filter rather than stock filter, oil is then picked up from the bottom of the pan, not like the stock filter which is smaller, and has the fluid inlet on the top. Hard acceleration can uncover the stock filter pick up and starve the pump momentarily.
3. One of my favorite reasons is it has a drain plug, so receiving a "hot oil shower" when changing the fluid is eliminated!
