Thinking of one for my T which will go mid 11s on pump gas with the soon-to-be-installed engine from my GN. More specifically, their non-lock up tranny. Anyone have any experience with these TCI 200s?

My brother bought one of their Lock-up TH-2004R's. They're complete junk! Or at least this one is.

They shift soft and it shutters on I believe the 1-2 shift like its hunting for the next gear. This is at real light throttle application pulling away from a stop light in city traffic.
He's running an Art Carr 2200 stall lockup converter also and when it locks up, it hits harder than each of the trans gear shifts. At WOT you almost can't feel the shift.

This is behind a mild 403 Olds engine running mid-13's. I think you'll blow the TCI up if your running 11's. :(

My friend had one built for a 455 Olds (with a convertor) Paid around $1700 for both. It didn/t last 1000 miles!!!! We disassembled and inspected. Nothing special inside other than a lot of parts were burnt!!!! Unless they have stepped up their quality and can give you a GREAT warrenty, I would not recommend. Keep in mind most warrenty are worthless, they allways have an OUT in them.
