Any Kawasaki ZX14R Owners here ?

I'm thinking on getting one,+ would just like to hear any owners feedback,Good or Bad.

zx11 190mph + dragbike here. the zx14 are sweet rides with a pro 9sec/ with a novice low 10,s 1/4scoot all day long drive to the track beat the piss out of her drive home without a lick of problem topend 200+ stock off the showroom floor. and more comfortable than a buza.they are designed so you cant work on them.not that you would need to on a new bike. just to pull plugs the motor has to come out the dealers love that.the only thing you have to do after break in is oil change and vavle adjustment by the dealer oh and youre goig to go thur a lot of rear tires he he! on my scoot I pull the tank ,air box, the plugs are rite there.

Thanks for the response, i didn't realize changing the plugs was so difficult ,i researched it a little + the engine doesn't have to come out but the fairings + tank do + then its still very tight but everyone says that if you use the plug tool that comes with the bike it makes life much easier.
There is people who have done it a bunch of times ,that say they can now do it in 15 mins,but not sure i believe that.
I called a dealership + they said the book says 2 hrs labor.
Also all the threads i have found on it have been for the regular zx14 (06-11) so hopefully the 14R (2012-2014) would be about the same.
I would maybe wait until i had the valves adjusted + change them then.

I found a screaming deal on a leftover 2012 but i think someone bought it today.
It''s not the color i want + it's 4 hrs away,but the price is so right if it's still available tomorrow i think i'm going to grab it.

I'm curious what kind of deals people have gotten on theirs ,so if your not against posting what you payed for yours,I'd like to hear what they are being had for.

I Can't seem to find any local deals for some reason.The dealer in my town wants $3000 more for their USED 2012 then the leftover 2012 i found,+ $2000 more then the price i got on a leftover 2013.


Any Kawasaki Dealer members on the site ?

Do you have kids?If so please think of them and your family before you go foward.I've had 4 friends killed on them and the problem is usually these DUMB ASS drivers in cars texting,not paying attention,etc.I still have several friends that still ride and they usually get out in big groups where other drivers hear them coming.Not trying to preach but just be carefull!!

Your right they are crazy fast,I rode 1 a couple yrs ago also , it was the original zx14.
I havn't tried the 2012 + up zx14R yet ,which is 100 cc's larger,has better heads,cams, etc. + makes around 200hp It's got to be insane.
1 nice thing is they are now building some safety nets into them ,like traction control,wheelie control(it actually cuts power if the wheel gets to a certain height off the ground),abs brakes, + a lower power mode for wet surfaces etc,

I always wanted to have one of them.But w/a turbo.Friend of mine has one at the drags.Thing flies.My zx11 was a pita to change the plugs.Sure wish I was younger.
